Michael Fontanini serves as Director of Advanced Sales with Lion Street, where he specializes in helping Lion Street Firms develop sophisticated life insurance solutions, encompassing both planning and product design, to meet the sophisticated needs of high-net-worth and business owner clients. Prior to joining Lion Street, Michael was with Prudential as a result of the acquisition of The Hartford Life Division. While with Hartford/Prudential, his responsibilities included advanced sales training, advanced case design and life insurance product marketing.

Michael has had many years of experience in various areas of the insurance and financial services industry. His background includes serving as a financial advisor with New England Financial, as well as a life insurance wholesaler and home office employee with roles in marketing, advanced sales training and product development with Phoenix Life. A graduate of the University of Iowa, Michael has earned the Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations and is FINRA Series 7 and 26 registered. He is also a former member of the Advanced Sales Committee for LIMRA, which is comprised of advanced sales professionals from various LIMRA member carriers.
