Bill has been with Jim Erb’s team since 2004 and has been working in the financial services industry since 2000. Bill is a 1999 graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in finance. Bill’s primary responsibilities include preparing financial plans and assisting Jim in the development and implementation of our client's fee-based financial planning. Bill holds a Florida State insurance license for Life, Health and Long-Term Care.
Bill has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification, the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation, Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL®) designation, Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation, and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation. Bill holds a Series 7, 6 and 66 securities licenses. In his free time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, Cristin and his children, Liam and Chloe. Bill is a Past President of the USF Tampa Alumni Chapter and is an alumni of the 2015 class of Leadership Tampa Bay. He is a member of the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and currently serves as a member of the board. Bill is also the Chairman of the Student Advisory Council for Veterans Elementary School.
As the president of Prida Guida & Perez, P.A., Lou Prida is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the firm as well as the day-to-day activities. He works alongside his partners to ensure the core values of the firm are reflected in the team members and the service provided to clients.
In addition to traditional accounting and tax professional services, Lou has extensive experience in small business consulting, merger and acquisition analysis, and tax and estate planning. He also has experience in tax representation before federal and state agencies. Prida is well practiced in the preparation of various applications regarding financial institution and holding company formation and financial institution mergers.
Prida received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1972, magna cum laude. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA). He served as director of the City of Tampa Internal Audit Department from 1983 to 1994.
