Susan P. Rounds is the Director and Head of U.S. Wealth Planning at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management – Americas. She specializes in tax and estate planning, business succession, risk management, philanthropy, family governance, wealth transfer, and legacy planning. With over 25 years of experience, she has worked with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners across various fields, including accounting, finance, and legal services.

She was inducted into the NAEPC Estate Planning Hall of Fame® in 2022.

Ms. Rounds is a speaker, author, and commentator, with articles published in leading magazines. She frequently presents at national seminars and estate planning events. She serves on the Editorial Board for Opportunity Zone Magazine and has been recognized as one of the Top 25 Opportunity Zone Influencers for the past five years. She also holds a leadership role in the Los Angeles branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Professionals (STEP) and has served on several boards.

She has taught at the University of Georgia School of Law and Business College, covering topics like Estate and Gift Tax, Federal Income Tax, and CPA exam sections. Ms. Rounds holds a BBA in Accounting from UT El Paso, a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Emory University. She passed the CPA exam on her first attempt and holds several prestigious designations, including Accredited Estate Planner® (Distinguished).
