AI Benefits and Risks in the Legal & Estate Planning Setting

Artificial intelligence is no longer a future consideration for estate planning professionals—it is already reshaping how work gets done, how clients evaluate expertise, and how professional judgment is exercised. But beyond the headlines and tools lies a more important question: How do we use AI wisely, responsibly, and in service of better outcomes for clients?

In this timely and practical session, J. Richard Caskey, JD, takes estate planners beyond the technology itself to explore the real opportunities and real risks AI introduces into legal and estate planning practice. Drawing on real-world examples and professional standards, this program examines how AI is influencing drafting, research, client communication, workflow efficiency, and decision-making—while also highlighting where human judgment, ethical responsibility, and professional discretion remain irreplaceable.

Join fellow estate planning professionals from across the Tampa Bay area for an engaging evening of networking and education.
