Hosted by  The Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council

Foreign Assets and International Estate Planning

In Tampa Bay Area and across Florida, international estate planning is no longer a rare planning issue. Families, retirees, business owners, and investors increasingly have connections across borders, whether through foreign real estate, non-U.S. beneficiaries, inherited assets, citizenship ties, or international tax considerations. These connections can complicate probate, fiduciary administration, tax reporting, and the transfer of wealth.

This session will help advisors recognize where cross-border issues may arise and why early coordination is essential to preserving client intent and protecting beneficiaries.
